We've Been Here Before

It's hard sometimes, but I (Auntie Meka) have to remind myself that we've been here before... and just as God did it then, He'll do it again. God is able indeed. But not only is He able, He wants to... He wants to be our healer, deliverer, Savior, peace... our everything.

In the natural, what we experienced last Thursday may have seemed like a set back. But I'm learning that what seems to be one thing is actually another. I've determined that "seem" is really an illusion of the mind influenced by outer circumstances. The reality in all that "seems" to be is that God is still God! And that is where my heart takes anchor and rejoice for Brittney, my sister, our family, friends & incercessors all over the world.

God is raising up a real live testimony of His Might, His Power and His Spirit. Saints, let us rejoice and begin praising God even now! Despite what it seems in your situation, I just want to encourage you to just praise God right now! Hallelujah!!!

Update on Brittney:

The doctors are waking Brittney up to see if she suffered any brain damage, and to what extent (if she did). We cover Brittney's brain, organs and her entire body under the blood of Jesus where no devil in hell can penetrate.

Please join us in continued prayer for Brittney, while rejoicing and thanking God for the victory.

    Reminds me of Elijah telling his servant that it was gonna rain, and the servant saying he did not see any clouds. It "seemed" that God had lied. Fortunately, Elijah was so close to God, that he listened to Him over him. What a lesson for us to learn. If God said it, that settles it. Doctors spend a lot of time in school, but not enough to be able to "see". Sight only comes from relationship with our Father...the One who sees all.

    Sorry....maybe that was just for me :)

New Phases of Brittney's Healing Manifest

We are rejoicing in all things and thanking the Lord for all He is doing in Brittney's life. This past Sunday with the help of our pastor and her older brother, she walked in church. In addition to this, whenever she goes somewhere outside the house, she walks from the car to her bed with the support of mom and big brother. Brittney will soon be taken off anti-biotics because her blood level is much improved. We are believing God that this time when she comes off antibiotics that the infection is completely gone and never to return. Next week, Brittney will visit a new school for people with developmental disabilities. She's scheduled to start soon. In this new school, she will receive full rehabilitation services: occupational, physical and speech therapy. So, we're excited about this new phase in her healing process. Brittney is Turning 26 This Month!

We are so happy and excited about Brittney's 26th Birthday coming up on March 18th. She is doing well and stronger than ever! Here is an update of the past couple of years... 1) We learned that in addition to Prolong QT, Brittney was also diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure at 45%. It has not progressed nor has she displayed any physical symptoms as a result. She had to lose weight and to date has lost about 35-40 lbs. 2) Brittney's G-tube was removed last year because she is now about to eat and drink on her own and well enough to intake full daily nutrients. 3) The Sickle Cell is under control and she has not had a crisis in years. She's doing well and always get great reports at doctor visits. Overall, Brittney is great! She's always in great spirits. She loves music and getting kisses (she loved those before the injury).
