Mom stepped out in faith today. Because of the vomiting incident, she felt that the tracheostomy was a part of the problem. Because she was initially told that the tracheostomy was only temporary, she took action steps to have it completely removed soon. Today, Brittney's trach was plugged up and she is now breathing 100% on her own. Her stats have remained stable and she is doing great!
Mom also met with the cardiologist today and discussed options regarding Brittney receiving a defibrillator. Because the current meds are working for Brittney, mom told the doctor that unless it is absolutely necessary, she does not want Brittney to have heart surgery. The doctor stood in total agreement and said that right now, Brittney's EKG levels are normal and everything looks great.
Mom decided today that it's time to reverse all of these temporary things Brittney has going on to help her get back normal. Brittney is very aware of her surroundings, and now that the trach is plugged up, if she can talk we'll be able to hear her.
Please pray for improvement overall for Brittney. Also pray that mom will continue to be unmovable in her faith.
