A Frustrated Brittney...

The emotion of frustration... although we don't want to see her frustrated, we rejoice that she's emotional. Again, she's going against the odds even in that as the doctors told us that she would never show emotions. We're thanking God that we chose not to believe the report of man, but we believe the report of the Lord!

Now on to why Brittney was frustrated... she's trying to TALK (yes... she's trying to talk) but unable to be heard because of her tracheostomy. The respiratory therapist told mom that Brittney's voice box is temporarily disconnected because of the trach, but she will be able to talk when it's removed.

She was able to get four hours of sleep last night, and we're rejoicing in that as well. Today she'll be visited by the optometrists to examine her vision to see if it suffered any damaged. Although her eyes respond to light and darkness properly, she has a hard time focusing in on us when we talk to her. We're praying that she can see.

We realize that Brittney is a miracle child as a result of God's faithfulness and the prayers of people like you from all over the world. There are people of faith from all across America praying, as well as Canada, Africa, Germany & beyond. We're excited to see God do it, and it is to Him and Him alone that we give all the glory!

Please continue to join us in prayer for Brittney's complete healing, health and wholeness. Her lungs need to continue to be strengthened, heart health, brain function continues to heal, she needs more movement in her body, and all her organs (eyes included) to line up with the Word of God and function in the perfection that God created them to function.

Be blessed!

  1. Some emotions we would rather not see, but they all serve a purpose in us. Saturday, I was reminded of when Job faced his trials. Each time something happened, God always spared a witness to come back and tell the story. As it is when we face trials...many do not survive, but there are a few that God allows to be able to come back from the experience...and tell the story.

Brittany is already trying to tell her's. "I made it!"...to the world that is watching.
