Brittney's Officially Home!

Brittney has been home since Friday and we're making the adjustments. Things have been great with her overall. We're adjusting to her schedule of meds and feedings.

Since we've been home, many people have been asking if she has any needs. Here's a list of ongoing home care needs for Brittney. If you would like to help, please call her mom or send an email to BrittneyMonyse@ymail.com...

Baby Wipes
Bottled Water
Night gowns & Night shirts (size 2x)
Hand sanitizer
Pampers (size 5)
Serenity pads

These are ongoing needs as she continue to recuperate at home. Thank you so much for your continued prayers and support for Brittney and our family.

Our prayer focus is that she'll continue to heal and she will begin talking to communicate with us so we can better understand her needs.

Right now she's back at the hospital to get a blood transfusion. So today we're praying for a smooth tranfusion and safe transport back home.

Healing Prayer/Confession for Brittney

The following prayer/confession was taken from the website http://www.PatsysMiracle.com It's been altered slightly to reflect Brittney's situation. -- Patsy went through some very similar challenges as Brittney and she came out a winner! She's fully functioning and able to do all the things the doctors told her husband that she wouldn't do. Her husband stood in faith and also made this healing confession over Patsy every day. Please join us in making this confession over Brittney as often as you can.

"Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Living Word. You said that your Word is life to those who find it and medicine to all their flesh. Today, by my confession, I apply Your Word to Brittney by giving voice to it.

You said in Psalm 139:14 that she is fearfully and wonderfully made and that Your works are marvelous. I declare that You made Brittney and she is a marvelous creation.

I speak to sickness and disease today and proclaim that according to Philippians 2:10 that they must bow down to the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Every name in heaven, on the earth, and under the earth bows its knee to Jesus' name.

I speak to Brittney's body todayand I declare that I have authority over it. I command it to receive the Word of God. Matthew 8:17 proclaims that Jesus bore Brittney's sickness and took her infirmities.

Heavenly Father, I thank You that the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in Brittney and makes alive her mortal body.

I speak to Brittney's brain function, lungs, kidneys, heart, bones, cells, tissues and immune system and I command them to line up with the Word of God. Brittney's immune system will destroy sickness and disease in her body and performes its job; for this is what God created it to do.

I thank You, Father, that every cell in Brittney's body responds to Your Word. Your Word permeated through her body from the top of her head to the bottom of her feet. I confess that the Word of God is being make flesh in her.

Psalm 103:3 declares that You, Father, forgave all Brittney's iniquities and healed all Brittney's diseases. They no longer belong to her. Father, that is Your confession and I make it my confession also. I don't judge by the sight of my eyes, I judge by Your Living Word. It is Your Word that lives in Brittney and brings healing and health to every part of her body.

Heavenly Father, I rejoice at Your promise of divine health. You said it and I believe it! Today, I declare that we will see Your promise of healing manifest in Brittney's body.

Healing is Brittney's today because Jesus paid the price two thousand and nine years ago. Father, You so loved Brittney that You sent Your Son to die on the cross so that she could experience life on Your terms. Today, I declare that Your abundant life is manifesting in Brittney now, making her whole in spirit, soul and body.

In Jesus' name and for your glory -- amen."

Please feel free to use/adapt this pray for yourself, your family memember and anyone you may be praying for who's sick. I know that Patsy and her husband would be please to know that you too are using this prayer/confession and seeing results so please feel free to contact them via their website. Be blessed!

Resilient

One word that best describes Brittney... RESILIENT! No matter what opposition she's faced over the past three months, she always finds inner strength and bounces back. It's God in her, and that we know!

Although we've not posted for the past few days, things are well. Brittney resumed rehab on Monday. She's still responding, alert and very present. We rejoice and thank God in the midst of it all!

Right now, mom has a terrible cold bug and is taking all precautions not to pass it on to Brittney. Her brother Brandon and sister Erin also have colds and we're keeping them away from the hospital temporarily. So please pray for quick healing/recovery for all three of them and things can return to normal with hospital visits.

New Treatment

Brittney had a fairly quiet day after surgery yesterday. However, last night she spiked a temperature and her heart-rate went up. Today everything is returning to normal and she's resting quite well.

The type of infection in her bones has been identified and she'll start a new treatment of antibiotics today. This treatment is expected to last over a several week time period and one medicine can affect her kidneys. We're praying that her kidneys will not be affected at all and that she continues to do well on her road to healing.

Now that the infection has been identified, we're also praying that the joints that are infected has not suffered any damages so she won't have to have more surgeries in the future. We are confident in the healing power of Jehovah-Rapha our Healer.

Pray that Brittney's body (brain, kidneys, lungs, heart, immune system, blood cells) continues to line up with the Word of God each day. She's schedule to restart rehabilitation on Monday.

Surgery is Over

Brittney made it through surgery just fine. They washed out her right shoulder and all went well. She's in recovery now and will soon return to her room. She's currently on antibiotics now, however some of her meds might change depending on the cultures they get back from what they drew off her arm today.

Rejoice in the Lord always; and again I say rejoice! We are rejoicing for a successful surgery but also for Brittney's complete healing, health and wholeness.

Bone Infection

The surgeon just came and talked to mom and informed her that Brittney has a bone infection throughout her body. Right now he's going to treat the right arm as that's the area that's giving Brittney the most discomfort. After surgery he's going to get with the infectious control doctors to see what meds and actions they can take. Prayerfully, anitbiotics will take care of everything, but more than that the Healing power of Jesus Christ heals Brittney.

Currently she's still in surgery. We're believing God for a smooth surgery and a quick recovery so she can resume her rehabilitation. Please continue to stand in faith with us that Brittney is healed, healthy and whole.

Surgery Needed Today

Brittney will have surgery today to clean out the infected shoulder. They are planning to x-ray all of her joints prior to surgery to see if there are any more infected joints. We are declaring and decreeing that there aren't anymore infected areas, that she has a smooth operation, and God lead and guide the doctors in all wisdom, knowledge, understanding, divine revelation and prophetic insight in her treatment and care.

Please pray for Brittney, family and doctors today.

Infection in Right Shoulder

After showing discomfort in her arm this weeks, doctors discovered that Brittney has an infection in her right shoulder. The doctor cut it so that the infection could drain. They will decide tomorrow if she will need surgery or not. She is not running a fever or anything and overall she is still doing great.

We are praying that the infection will be removed and she'll be ready to go home soon. Please continue to pray for Brittney and our family. We are yet hopeful as we have seen the Hand of God on Brittney's life in miraculous ways, and He's still doing it even now.

Encourage Brittney's Spirit

Brittney is still doing great! Each day we see her gaining a new level of consciousness and becoming more aware of her environment. She's talking a little more and saying things that are relevant and appropriate (no idle babble or "off the wall" words from her). It's still a very slow process and sometimes hard to communicate, but overall it's progression daily.

Brittney has said a few things that let's us know that she's becoming aware of how sick she's been and because of that, we want to ask you to pray with us that the Lord encourages Brittney's spirit everyday. Pray that her hope builds and she realizes that all that she's been through and going through now is just temporary. She's come a very long way in the past 16 weeks. We want Brittney to know in her inner spirit that God can, will and has already healed her body and for her to hold on to hope and faith in Him.

We play worship music and healing Scriptures for her, so we pray that through those venues and our words of encouragement that she looks not at the outer circumstances but look to Jesus who is the author and finisher of our faith. She is healed, it is so!

No Seizure Activity

This morning while in rehabilitation, the therapists thought Brittney had a seizure. An EEG was ordered by the doctors and it showed no sign of a seizure. Right now she is back in physical therapy and doing great. When they moved her on the mat in the gym, she said, "arm" to let them know that her arm was uncomfortable.

She will soon transition from one heart medicine to the next one, so we're praying and believing God for a smooth transition. Thank you for your continued prayer support.

Messages from Around the World

South Africa

Dearest Brittney,

Wow! What a long road you have walked.

Young lady, you are going to surprise doctors through what our Abba is doing in your body, but I believe you will surprise your family, (Both flesh and Spiritual families) with what Abba is doing in your Spirit. His Beautiful Spirit. That chose to live in you . To heal you from the inside out. To minister Words of Wisdom that you might reach people that have hardened their hearts through medical disappointment/s.

You have had the very awesome blessing of having a God-fearing, loving family, surround you with His love, and their love, woven together for your healing. They rejoice in every little progress (as we all do who are praying for you all over the world.) I am so encouraged by your mommy's faithful persistence in stepping into the Throne Room on your behalf, your aunty's courage and persistence too. One day, when the Lord blesses you with your own little girl, you will understand the depth of the love of a mom. Right now, rest in the Lord as He leads you along His path, healing you and showing you wonderful things.

May the Lord give your family good, sound sleep when they lay their heads on their pillows at night, confident in the knowledge that Jesus is doing the 'Midnight watch' over you.

Much love,

Your South African friend,

Heather

Missouri

I have been checking your blog daily to know how and what to pray. I love that everyone is standing with God in this...letting Him do what He does best! What a trial you all have been going thru, BUT the devil has lost and is on bended knee once again to the King of Kings, Lord of Lords, and our beautiful Saviour, Jesus Christ! I am so proud of each and every one of you for allowing God to move....even thru shaking times! You are awesome warriors.

Brittney, I can hardly wait to see you dance for the Lord...and you will! It was the Holy Spirit that led me to you....and it is an honor to pray for you!

I love you all so much! God bless you all as we declare His victory together!

There is something about the strength of a woman...especially a mother.

God we thank you for surrounding Miss Brittney with strong women. We thank you for allowing your Word to come alive in Brittney, her mom and Deaquelynn. We continue to praise you for her improvement...fixing everything the enemy has 'temporarily' disabled.

It is so.

Preparing to Go Home

We are preparing for Brittney to go home next week! Right now, she's doing well health wise as well as in rehabilitation. She's scheduled to go home next week, of which she will still have three days of rehabilitation each week.

Please pray with us that everything will be in place as we transition home. She'll need a special bed, she's been fitted for a wheelchair, and mom is also coordinating the delivery of medicine and supplies.

Our biggest need right now is for a van to transport Britttney back and forth to rehabilitation and doctor appointments, so we ask that you pray that all of our resources to be available for home care.

We're so excited that she's going home! We also know the changes this means for our family and we're expecting a smooth transition as Brittney continues on this road to divine instructions and healing manifestation.
