Eight Days & Counting...

Today is day 8 of Brittney being in ICU at Children's Hospital. It has been an emotional and spiritual journey for Brittney, her mom, siblings and family. We are thanking God daily for progress. Some days are slow, some days we've had setbacks, but in God we have remained faithful and hopeful of God's promises of healing for Brittney.

Yesterday we learned that Brittney has two spots on her hips that may be the cause of the infection that tried to destroy her body. Right now as we type this, the doctors are drawing fluid from the spots on her hips to test for infection. If the test is positive, they will operate to remove the infection.

We are pleased that her lungs and respiratory seems to be improving. Our pray focus is that her Peep Respiratory number goes down to 10. This will mean that her airways will start contracting better so that she will be able to breath on her own when they remove the ventilator.

She is still in an induced coma and paralysis. So as of our knowledge, she is unaware of most of what's going on. Each day we pray with her, read Scriptures and keep her encouraged with visitors.

During our ICU time, she's had the best nurses and care attendants. We know that God has anointed them to care for Brittney.

Please continue to pray as this is definitely a journey for Brittney and our family. You can check back daily for updates.

  1. Merciful God, today I am sending out a special prayer for Brittney and her family. Give her courage to live with this disease. Help her to face and overcome her fears. Be with The Williams Family when they are alone or rejected. Comfort them when they are discouraged. And touch them with your healing Spirit that they may find and possess eternal life, now and forever. Amen.
