A Big Day for Brittney
Last night Brittney had a rough night. She spiked a fever of 105.4 and it took much prayer and cooling blankets, meds and an act of God to get her fever down.
This morning Brittney went for surgery. The doctors removed infectious fluids from her right hip and right knee. The surgery was a little more extensive that it started out because more spots were found. She made it through surgery and back to ICU just fine.
The doctors were pleased with how surgery went. They are still watching Brittney's left knee and hip to see if there are more possible infected areas. She's on four different antibiotics to help eradicate the infection in her body.
As of the 8 pm visitation tonight, Brittney was responsive and even mouthing words to mom, family & the nurses. She has a temp still, however it's lower than it has been the past couple of days. Her Peep Respiratory Number is at 7 and she is doing well breathing on her own with the ventilator.
Our prayer is that today's surgery was it, that it got the heart of the infection and now we're on our way to complete recovery and healing. Please continue to pray for Brittney's physical and emotional strength. Also pray for mom that she will continue to stand strong and be encouraged.
We are blessed by your comments and prayers daily.

It is obvious that this young lady comes from a family of fighters....spiritual and emotional. May God continue to manifest the healing she already has. It is so.
